📖 How to Play

Everything you need to build, survive, and conquer.

🎬 Getting Started

Welcome to ReignFall — a medieval kingdom building game where you construct a village, train an army, survive barbarian attacks, and compete against other players in seasonal leaderboards.

1
Register an Account

Pick a username and password. That's it — you're in!

2
Your Starting Village

You receive a village with a Town Hall (Level 1) already built, along with 750 of each resource (Gold, Wood, Stone, Food) and 50 Gems.

3
Build on Your 4×4 Grid

Your village has 16 building slots arranged in a 4×4 grid. Click the + symbol on any empty slot to construct a new building. Click an existing building to see its details and upgrade it.

4
Survive and Grow

Gather resources, build defenses, train troops, and prepare for the barbarian waves!

🛡️ Power Score

Your Power Score is shown on your village screen. It represents how strong your kingdom is and determines your leaderboard ranking.

Power Score = (Building Levels × 10) + Troop Attack Power

  • 🏰 Each building level adds 10 power (e.g., Town Hall Lv 3 + Farm Lv 2 = 50 power)
  • ⚔️ Each troop adds its ATK stat (e.g., 5 Militia = 50 power, 3 Knights = 180 power)

Example: 3 buildings at total level 5 (50) + 10 Militia (100 ATK) = 150 Power

Higher power = higher on the leaderboard = bigger gem prizes at season end!

💾 Always Running

ReignFall is persistent — your village keeps running even when you're offline:

  • Resources keep generating — come back after hours and collect what your buildings produced.
  • Buildings and troops finish — started a 2-hour upgrade? It'll be done when you return.
  • Barbarian waves still attack — your defenses fight automatically. Check your messages to see what happened while you were away.
  • No need to stay online — start a build, queue troop training, and check back later. The more often you check in, the faster you can start new builds and react to wave results.
  • Daily login rewards — log in each day to claim escalating rewards! Day 1 = 5 gems, building up to Day 7 = 50 gems jackpot. Miss a day and your streak resets.

🎁 Daily Login Rewards

Log in every day to claim free rewards! ReignFall features a 7-day streak system where rewards escalate each consecutive day you log in.

Day 1 💎 5 Gems + 200 Gold
Day 2 💎 5 Gems + 300 Wood
Day 3 💎 10 Gems + 300 Stone
Day 4 💎 10 Gems + 400 Food
Day 5 💎 15 Gems + 500 Gold
Day 6 💎 20 Gems + 500 Wood
👑 Day 7 💎 50 Gems + 1,000 Gold — JACKPOT!

ℹ️ How It Works

  • The reward popup appears automatically when you log in each day.
  • Click Claim to collect your reward.
  • Miss a day and your streak resets back to Day 1.
  • After Day 7, the cycle starts over from Day 1.
  • A full 7-day streak earns you 115 gems plus bonus resources!

💡 Tip: Even if you don't have time to play, log in briefly to claim your daily reward. The Day 7 jackpot of 50 gems is worth protecting your streak for!

🏗️ Buildings

There are 8 building types in the game. Each serves a unique purpose. All buildings have a max level of 10.

💡 Cost scaling: Each level costs ×1.8 more resources than the previous. Build time doubles (×2.0) per level.

🏰

Town Hall

Unique — 1 per village

The center of your village. You start with a Level 1 Town Hall. Upgrading it unlocks new building types:

  • ⚔️ Town Hall Lv 2 → unlocks Barracks (train troops)
  • 🏰 Town Hall Lv 3 → unlocks Wall (passive defense)
💰 200   🪓 200   ⛏️ 200 ⏱ 2m base build time Requires: Nothing (starts built)
🌾

Farm

Resource — build multiple

Produces Food for your village. Food is needed to train troops and build the Barracks.

⬆️ +5 Food/min per level — A Level 3 Farm produces 15 Food/min.

💰 50   🪓 100   ⛏️ 50 ⏱ 1m base build time Requires: Nothing
🪓

Lumber Mill

Resource — build multiple

Produces Wood from nearby forests. Wood is needed for most buildings.

⬆️ +5 Wood/min per level — A Level 5 Lumber Mill produces 25 Wood/min.

💰 100   🪓 50   ⛏️ 50 ⏱ 1m base build time Requires: Nothing
⛏️

Quarry

Resource — build multiple

Mines Stone from the earth. Stone is essential for Walls and higher-level buildings.

⬆️ +5 Stone/min per level — A Level 4 Quarry produces 20 Stone/min.

💰 100   🪓 50   ⛏️ 50 ⏱ 1m base build time Requires: Nothing
💰

Gold Mine

Resource — build multiple

Extracts Gold from deep veins. Gold is the universal currency — every building and troop costs gold.

⬆️ +5 Gold/min per level — A Level 2 Gold Mine produces 10 Gold/min.

💰 50   🪓 100   ⛏️ 100 ⏱ 1m base build time Requires: Nothing
⚔️

Barracks

Unique — 1 per village

Train troops to defend your village against barbarian waves. Higher Barracks levels unlock stronger troop types:

  • ⚔️ Barracks Lv 1 → Militia
  • 🏹 Barracks Lv 3 → Archer
  • 🐎 Barracks Lv 5 → Knight
💰 200   🪓 150   ⛏️ 150   🌾 100 ⏱ 1m 30s base build time Requires: Town Hall Lv 2
🧱

Wall

Unique — 1 per village

Fortifies your village with passive defense. Wall defense applies automatically during barbarian waves — no troops needed.

🛡️ +50 Defense per level — A Level 5 Wall provides 250 defense.

💰 100   🪓 50   ⛏️ 200 ⏱ 1m 30s base build time Requires: Town Hall Lv 3
📦

Warehouse

Unique — 1 per village

Increases your resource storage capacity. Without a Warehouse, your max storage is 3,000 per resource. Once you hit the cap, production stops — resources are wasted!

📦 Storage = 3,000 × 1.5level

  • Lv 1 → 4,500 cap
  • Lv 2 → 6,750 cap
  • Lv 3 → 10,125 cap
  • Lv 5 → 22,781 cap
💰 150   🪓 150   ⛏️ 100 ⏱ 1m base build time Requires: Nothing

💰 Resources

Your kingdom runs on 4 resources. Keep them flowing or your village grinds to a halt!

G
Gold

The universal currency. Needed for everything — buildings, troops, and market trades.

W
Wood

Harvested by Lumber Mills. Required for most buildings.

S
Stone

Mined by Quarries. Essential for Walls and advanced structures.

F
Food

Produced by Farms. Required to train every troop.

ℹ️ Key Resource Facts

  • Resources are generated every minute from production buildings.
  • You start with 750 of each resource.
  • Default storage cap is 3,000 per resource. Build a Warehouse to increase it.
  • Your current resources and production rates are shown in the top resource bar during gameplay.
  • When resources hit the cap, production is wasted — upgrade your Warehouse!

🔨 Building & Upgrading

🚧
One at a Time

You can only have one construction running at any time. Plan your builds carefully!

+
Build New

Click the + on any empty grid slot to see available buildings and their costs.

Upgrade Existing

Click any placed building to view its stats and the Upgrade button. Each level increases production or defense.

💎
Rush with Gems

Don't want to wait? Use the Rush button to instantly complete any construction for gems. Cost: 1 gem per 60 seconds remaining.

📊 Cost & Time Scaling

Each level costs more and takes longer:

  • Resource cost multiplies by ×1.8 per level
  • Build time multiplies by ×2.0 per level
  • All buildings max out at Level 10

Example: A Farm costs 50 Gold at Lv 1, but 90 Gold at Lv 2, 162 Gold at Lv 3, and so on.

⚔️ Troops

Train warriors at the Barracks to defend your village against barbarian waves. You must build a Barracks first (requires Town Hall Lv 2).

⚔️

Militia

Barracks Lv 1

⚔ 10 ATK 🛡 5 DEF
💰 50 Gold 🌾 30 Food
⏱ 15 seconds per unit

Cheap and fast to train. Your bread-and-butter early defense. Quantity over quality!

🏹

Archer

Barracks Lv 3

⚔ 25 ATK 🛡 10 DEF
💰 80 Gold 🌾 50 Food
⏱ 30 seconds per unit

Balanced fighters with solid attack. Good value for mid-game defense.

🐎

Knight

Barracks Lv 5

⚔ 60 ATK 🛡 40 DEF
💰 200 Gold 🌾 100 Food
⏱ 60 seconds per unit

Elite heavy cavalry. Expensive but devastating. A few Knights can turn the tide of battle!

📋 Training Rules

  • You can only train one batch at a time.
  • Training time = time per unit × number of units. (10 Militia = 150 seconds)
  • Troops provide defense during barbarian wave attacks using their DEF stat.
  • Check the Troops screen to see your total defense vs. the next wave's power.

💀 Barbarian Waves

⚠️

This is the core survival mechanic! Barbarian hordes attack ALL villages on a timer that gets faster as the season progresses. If you're not prepared, you will suffer heavy losses.

How Waves Work

  • Waves attack every 8 hours in week 1, speeding up to every 2 hours by the end of the season.
  • Each wave has a power level that increases: starts at 40, then scales by ×1.18 per wave.
  • Wave 1 = 40 power, Wave 5 = 86 power, Wave 10 = 196 power, Wave 20 = 1,070 power...

🛡️ Your Defense

Total Defense = Wall Defense + Troop Defense

  • 🧱 Wall Defense = Wall Level × 50
  • ⚔️ Troop Defense = Each troop's DEF stat × their count

Example: Wall Lv 3 (150) + 10 Militia (50) + 5 Archers (50) = 250 total defense

✅ You Survive (defense ≥ wave power)

  • Earn gold reward: 100 × wave number
  • Earn 1 gem
  • Lose some troops proportionally (combat casualties)

❌ You Fail (defense < wave power)

  • Lose 30% of all resources
  • Lose 50% of your troops
  • No gold or gem reward

🛡️ New Player Shield

Joining mid-season? Don't worry — new players are automatically protected from their first 4 waves. This gives you ~24-32 hours to build up your village before the barbarians come for real.

  • Your first 4 waves deal zero damage to your village.
  • You'll see a message: "New player shield protected you!"
  • After 4 waves, you're on your own — build defenses fast!

⏱️ Wave Speed

Waves get more frequent as the season progresses:

  • Week 1 (waves 1-21): Every 8 hours — 3 per day, time to build up
  • Week 2 (waves 22-42): Every 4 hours — 6 per day, pressure ramps up
  • Final stretch (waves 43-56): Every 2 hours — intense survival!

💡 Tip: Check the Troops screen regularly — it shows your defense vs. the next wave's power. If you're in the red, train more troops or upgrade your Wall before the timer runs out!

🏆 Seasons

ReignFall is played in competitive seasons. Each season is a fresh start and a race to the top.

📅
14-Day Seasons

Each season lasts exactly 14 days with 56 barbarian waves (one every 6 hours).

🔄
Full Reset at Season End

When a season ends, ALL buildings, troops, and resources are wiped. Everyone starts fresh. The only thing that carries over is your gems.

🏅
Rankings & Prizes

Players are ranked by waves survived and power score. Top players earn gem prizes:

👑 1st Place 💎 500 Gems
🥈 2nd Place 💎 300 Gems
🥉 3rd Place 💎 100 Gems
Top 10 💎 50 Gems each

💡 Tip: A new season starts immediately after the previous one ends. Jump in early for a head start!

🏪 Market

The Market lets you trade resources for gold (and vice versa). Useful when you have a surplus of one resource and need another.

💱 Exchange Rates

Resource Sell Price (you get gold) Buy Price (costs gold)
🪓 Wood 2 Gold each 3 Gold each
⛏️ Stone 3 Gold each 5 Gold each
🌾 Food 1 Gold each 2 Gold each

💡 Tip: Notice the spread — you buy for more than you sell. Trading is useful in a pinch, but producing your own resources is always more efficient!

🗺️ World Map & Raiding

Explore the world beyond your village! The Map tab reveals a vast landscape filled with other players and NPC resource camps ripe for raiding.

🌍 The World Map

  • Your village is placed on a 200×200 world map when you first register.
  • Use the Map tab in the navigation bar to explore the world around you.
  • Scroll around using the arrow buttons on screen or your keyboard arrow keys.
  • Click the "My Village" button to jump back to your location at any time.
  • Your village appears as a blue castle, while other players show as red castles.

🏕️ NPC Resource Camps

Scattered across the map are NPC camps you can raid for resources. There are 5 types:

🏕️

Bandit Camp

Raid for Gold

A band of outlaws hoarding stolen gold. Raid them for 200–600 Gold.

🌲

Lumber Camp

Raid for Wood

Unguarded lumber stockpiles in the forest. Raid them for 200–600 Wood.

⛰️

Quarry Camp

Raid for Stone

An abandoned stone quarry with piles of cut stone. Raid them for 200–600 Stone.

🌾

Farm Camp

Raid for Food

Overflowing granaries left unprotected. Raid them for 200–600 Food.

💎

Gem Shrine

Rare — Raid for Gems!

A rare mystical shrine glowing with precious gems. Raid them for 3–6 Gems. These are uncommon — grab them when you find one!

ℹ️ Camp Difficulty

  • Camps near the center of the map are easier (lower defense power).
  • Camps at the edges are harder but give better rewards.

⚔️ How to Raid

1
Find a Camp

Open the Map tab and explore. Click on any camp icon to see its details: camp type, defense power, and reward.

2
Choose Your Troops

Select which troops to send on the raid: Militia, Archers, and/or Knights. Your attack power is the total ATK stats of all sent troops.

3
Launch the Raid!

Click the "Raid!" button to attack the camp. Results are instant.

🎯 Raid Outcomes

✅ WIN (your attack ≥ camp defense)

  • You get the resource reward from the camp!
  • Lose 10–20% of sent troops as combat casualties.
  • The stronger you are vs. the camp, the fewer troops you lose.

❌ LOSE (your attack < camp defense)

  • You get nothing — the raid fails.
  • Lose 50% of sent troops.
⚠️

Troop losses are permanent! Troops killed in raids are gone forever. This directly weakens your defense against the next barbarian wave. Always keep enough troops at home to survive!

Raid Cooldown: After raiding a camp, there is a 5-minute cooldown before you can raid that same camp again.

💡 Raiding Tips

💪

Send more troops than needed. The stronger you are vs. the camp, the fewer casualties you take. Overwhelming force means fewer losses.

💎

Hunt for Gem Shrines. They're rare and valuable — worth sending your best troops. Even a few gems add up over time.

🛡️

Don't send everything! Keep enough troops home to defend against the next barbarian wave. Raids aren't worth it if you lose your village.

🗺️

Explore widely. Camps near your village are convenient, but check the edges of the map for bigger rewards if your army is strong enough.

💎 Gems & Shop

Gems are the premium currency in ReignFall. They persist between seasons, making them your most valuable asset.

✨ How to Earn Gems

  • Starting bonus: 50 gems when you create your account
  • Daily login rewards: Up to 50 gems on Day 7 (115 gems total for a full week)
  • Survive waves: 1 gem per wave survived
  • Raid Gem Shrines: Find rare Gem Shrines on the map for 3–6 gems each
  • Season prizes: Up to 500 gems for 1st place
  • Purchase: Buy gem packs from the Shop

🛒 Shop Gem Packs

💎 100 Gems $0.99
💎 500 Gems $3.99
💎 1,200 Gems $7.99 Best value!

🎁 Starter Pack (One-Time)

Available only once per account: $2.99 for 200 Gems + 1,000 of each resource. Great for getting a head start in a new season!

💰 What to Spend Gems On

  • Rush Construction: Instantly complete any building or upgrade. Cost = 1 gem per 60 seconds of remaining build time.

🧠 Strategy Tips

🌾

Build resource buildings first. A Farm and Lumber Mill are your top priority — you need a steady income for everything else.

🏰

Rush Town Hall to Level 2. This unlocks the Barracks, which is essential for training troops before the first wave hits.

🧱

Build a Wall before Wave 1. The first barbarian wave arrives 6 hours into the season. Even a Level 1 Wall (50 defense) helps survive it.

⚔️

Train Militia early. They're cheap (50g + 30f) and train in just 15 seconds. Spam them for quick defense.

📦

Don't forget the Warehouse! If you hit the 3,000 storage cap, your production goes to waste. Build one before you max out.

🏪

Use the Market strategically. Got 5,000 Food but need Gold? Sell the surplus. Don't let resources sit at the cap doing nothing.

💎

Save gems for emergencies. The best use of gems is rushing a Wall or Barracks upgrade right before a wave hits. Don't waste them early!

Duplicate resource buildings. You can build multiple Farms, Lumber Mills, Quarries, and Gold Mines. Two Farms = double the Food production!

🏕️

Raid NPC camps for extra resources. Before a big upgrade, raid camps on the map to stock up on the resources you need.

💎

Gem Shrines are rare but worth hunting. Explore the map regularly — when a Gem Shrine appears, send your troops to claim those precious gems.

⚖️

Balance raids and wave defense. Don't send all your troops on raids — always keep enough defenders home for the next barbarian wave.
